Potting Grit. This Potting Grit is a very fine grit, designed for mixing in with compost and other growing mediums to improve drainage and aeration, especially in heavier soils. Easy to use, all you have to do is mix the Potting Grit in with the soil and allow it to create small air holes which allow the water to drain through the soil more freely. Whilst this Potting Grit is recommended for use with Alpine, Cacti and Succulent plants, it can also be used for top dressing to give your ornamental plant displays a professional, finished look.
