Prices, Availability, Price History and Savings

1. Displayed prices
Priceway aims to display the product price including VAT. Where an unavoidable delivery charge or other mandatory charge can be calculated in advance, it should be included in the displayed total or shown with equal prominence beside the price.
Where delivery depends on destination, order value, membership or another choice that Priceway cannot determine, we state that delivery is extra or must be checked with the retailer. We do not intentionally present a partial price as the complete amount payable.
2. Retailer price controls the purchase
Prices and stock may change after Priceway's latest update. Always verify the final total, delivery, product variant and seller on the retailer's website before ordering. The retailer's checkout and contract govern the transaction.
3. Price history
Price history is based on prices observed by Priceway from available feeds or retailer sources. It may be affected by data gaps, product rematching, delivery variations or short-lived promotions.
Priceway price history is not automatically the same as:
- a retailer's previous selling price;
- a recommended retail price;
- a manufacturer's list price;
- the lowest price in a legally defined reference period; or
- the price available to every user or location.
4. Price drops and savings claims
A “price drop” normally means that the current observed Priceway price is lower than a previously observed comparable offer. The comparison period and reference should be stated near the claim or accessible through the price-history view.
Priceway must not use a “was” price, percentage saving or other reference price that creates a misleading impression. Reference prices must be genuine, recent, representative and supported by records. A recommended retail price is not presented as a previous selling price.
5. Availability
“In stock” reflects the latest data supplied or observed. It is not a reservation. An item can sell out before the next update. Pre-order, back-order, marketplace and used/refurbished conditions must be identified where known.
6. Product matching
We use identifiers, titles, specifications and automated matching. Similar products can be mistaken for one another. Check model number, capacity, size, colour, bundle, condition and warranty before buying.
7. Corrections
Report an error using the Report a price error page. We may correct or temporarily remove an offer while investigating. A displayed error does not by itself require a retailer to honour the price.
